Frequently asked questions
Why is the GIF larger than my original video?
GIF is less efficient than modern video formats for many moving images. Shorten the clip, lower its frame rate, or reduce its width. If you need sound or efficient playback, keep a video format instead.
Why was only part of my video included?
The output is capped at 600 frames. Lower the frame rate to include more time, or trim the video to the section you need. The tool warns when the selected range exceeds this limit.
Does the GIF include sound?
No. GIF cannot contain an audio track. Use the video format converter when you need a playable video with sound.
