ABOUT THIS TOOL
Save the soundtrack from a video as an audio file. Choose the format and channel settings, then listen to the result before downloading.
How it works
Add a video with sound. Choose a video containing an audio track that the converter can decode.
Choose your audio settings. Select MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG or FLAC. Keep the original channel count or choose stereo or mono. Adjust bitrate for formats that support it.
Extract and listen. Run extraction, listen to the audio preview, and download the resulting file.
Formats and useful details
Input
Video files such as MP4, MOV, WebM and MKV with a supported audio track.
Output
MP3, M4A with AAC, WAV with 16-bit PCM, OGG with Opus, or FLAC.
Good to know
Lossy-format bitrate choices range from 96 to 320 kbps. WAV and FLAC do not use that bitrate control. Audio is decoded and converted to the chosen output; an existing silent or missing soundtrack cannot be recovered.
Processed on your device
Your selected files are processed on your device by the browser-based converter. Available formats and conversion speed depend on your browser, the file’s encoding, and your device. Large files may require more memory.
Frequently asked questions
Which audio format should I choose?
MP3 is a practical choice for sharing. M4A and OGG offer other compressed options. WAV is useful for editing workflows, while FLAC stores losslessly encoded audio. Check which formats your destination app accepts.
Does exporting WAV or FLAC improve the source audio?
No. A lossless or uncompressed output cannot restore detail already lost in the source recording. It preserves the decoded audio according to the chosen output and channel settings.
Why does the tool report no audio track?
Some recordings contain video only. The converter needs an audio track to extract. If a track exists but conversion fails, its codec may not be supported by the browser or available decoder.
