How it works
Add your video. Choose a video from your device. The tool reads its dimensions and duration before conversion.

Preview the compressed video. Run compression, compare the file sizes, and check playback and small text before downloading the MP4.
Formats and useful details
Input
MP4, MOV, WebM, MKV and M4V containers with video your browser can decode.
Output
MP4 with H.264 video.
Good to know
The compressor re-encodes the video. Resolution choices include Keep, 1080p, 720p and 480p, and smaller sources are not enlarged. Encoding support depends on the browser and device.
Processed on your device
Your selected files are processed on your device by the browser-based converter. Available formats and conversion speed depend on your browser, the file’s encoding, and your device. Large files may require more memory.
Frequently asked questions
Will compression affect video quality?
Re-encoding can change fine detail. Higher quality favors detail, while Smaller file favors a smaller download. For screen recordings, inspect small text and cursor movement in the preview.
Why did my video not become smaller?
A source that is already efficiently compressed may not shrink at the selected settings. Try a smaller-file preset or lower resolution. A fixed compression percentage is not guaranteed.
Why can my browser play a file but not compress it?
Playback and conversion can use different browser capabilities. Compression requires compatible decoding and H.264 encoding support. Try an updated browser or a different source encoding if conversion is unavailable.
